Rachel E. McLean

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Rachel holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Criminology and English. Though young, Rachel brings a myriad of experience to the table with the firm. In order to better understand where her real passions lie, she pursued a variety of different experiences and internships: taking away valuable perspectives within the fields of Criminal Defense, Children & Youth, working as an educator, Military Law, Civil Law, and Family Law. Through her internships with the Dauphin County Divorce Hearing Officer and The Honorable Jeffrey B. Engle, former Family Law Judge, she was better able to learn the inner workings of family law.
PERSPECTIVE / PHILOSOPHY:
Rachel believes in an approach to family law that encompasses both ethics and the importance of the emotional well-being of the family unit. Family law isn’t merely about a legal resolution but the well-being of the clients and those impacted by the litigation.
FUN FACTS:
Rachel enjoys getting outside and traveling. Some of her favorite outdoor adventures include paddle boarding and hiking. Her favorite cities include Charleston, South Carolina, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Rachel was born in California and relocated to Lehigh Valley in 2012 where she graduated from Emmaus High School. She currently resides in Harrisburg, PA with her dog.
