May 20th is National Rescue Dog Day and, in celebration, DaleyZucker is excited to announce its partnership with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue located in Mechanicsburg PA!
About Homeward Bound
Homeward Bound, founded in 2006, solely rescues pregnant dogs, or dogs that have recently given birth, and works closely with the mommies and their litters to ensure that each dog is house, crate, and leash trained before placing them in the best homes possible.
How Can You Help
Even if you are not able to adopt a pet, there are several ways you can help.
As a partner to Homeward Bound, DaleyZucker will be collecting the following items in helping the new mommies and their litters while they search for their forever homes:
- 33+ Gallon Trash Bags (like those you collect leaves in or contractor’s garbage bags)
- Clorox spray
- Paper towels
- Clorox/Bleach for laundry
- Tide Laundry detergent (HE)
- Large Latex gloves
- Dog toys
- Purina One Chicken and Rice Adult food
- Alpo Can dog food with pop tops
- Blankets and comforters
- Bath Towels
- Copier Paper
- MilkBones
- Oversized Stuffed animals for puppies to cuddle with
- Crates
- Revolution
- Heartguard
- Sentinnel
- Advantage Plus
- Capstars
- Monetary Contributions are always welcome and needed.
If you would like to donate, please stop by our office during the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
